Don't be fooled by JD's marketing title. His first certification was on Windows NT 4.0. Much of the last two decades was spent working in LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi. Aside from various vendor certifications he is a Certified Wireless Network Trainer, Certified Wireless Network Expert #366, and Certified Wireless IoT Solutions Expert #5.
Before joining Juniper, he was the Wireless Architect for UNC-CH.
JD is also a cofounder of The Wi-Fi Awards, a non-profit dedicated to recognizing the best people, companies, and products within the Wi-Fi space.
His passions cover all things wireless and security, but when not working he loves being outdoors or traveling.
