The Apple Managers SIG will the latest best practices for Apple Device Management and state of the UNC17 Jamf Pro MDM service.

SIG will be an open discussion format where best practice is discussed and each institution is encouraged to share their experiences in managing Apple Devices for Zero Touch and Zero Trust deployments. ECU School of Dental Medicine uses Apple technology for teaching, learning and clinical practice across 15 clinics and 9 locations throughout NC. We connected jamf to MS PowerBI to get a better understanding of our unique environment. It allows us to share IT information with leadership in SoDM and help with troubleshooting workstation and MDM issues.

Adapting to ever-changing campus circumstances can seem daunting. Mobility, working and learning from anywhere, digitization, and IoT are enablers and drivers for a modernized hybrid campus. But these modernization factors can create challenges for IT support of the campus network and data security. A major LMS update creates challenges for instructor training teams. The DELTA approach to moving to Moodle 4.0 began with teasers and marketing and developed into weekly workshops and a roadshow embedding training and coaching in colleges and departments across campus to expand our reach. In this session, we will share our process and resources for supporting this major LMS update.
